This section details our full terms and conditions for using www.unitedbeauty.co.uk.

 

DELIVERY INFORMATION

Delivery Charges
All orders over £100 will be delivered free of charge.
Orders under £100 excluding VAT will be subject to a standard postage charge of £10.00 plus VAT for trade customers & £12.00 including VAT for retail customers.

Delivery Times
All orders are shipped via Royal Mail or TNT.
All orders placed before 12pm will be dispatched within 2 working days*.
All orders placed after 12pm will be dispatched within 3 working days*.
United Beauty endeavour to meet the deliver times above, but they cannot be guaranteed as they may be affected by circumstances beyond our control.
*Please note that delivery schedules may be affected by the public holidays.

 

RETURNS & CANCELLATIONS

When goods have been ordered in error, or are not as expected, United Beauty may agree to their return on the following conditions:
- If you wish to return products that are damaged, or wish to report a discrepancy with your order, this must be done in writing within three working days of receipt of goods.
- If United Beauty agrees to the return of your purchase, the product must be returned within 30 working days of receipt.
- Before returning any products please contact us on +44 (0) 1536 463 384 to be issued a returns number.
- All returns must be unused.
- Items must be returned in packaging suitable for safe postage. If you have any doubts about packaging your goods, please contact the Returns Department who will be able to provide further advice.
- All returns must be clearly marked for the attention of:
Returns Department, United Beauty, Princewood Road, Corby, Northants, NN17 4AP, United Kingdom.
- We cannot accept liability for lost or damaged parcels in transit to us.
- Cancellation of an order will only be accepted prior to dispatch.

 

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

United Beauty is committed to providing good customer service across all aspects of our business. Should you be one of the few customers to experience a problem regarding our products or delivery, please follow the procedure below:
- If you receive an order with damages or discrepancies, you must notify us in writing within 3 working days of receipt of goods
- Any faulty or damaged goods that you may receive must be reported to us at the time of complaint to obtain a returns number
- All returns must be sent back in packaging suitable for safe postage with the returns number and must be clearly marked for the attention of: Returns Department, United Beauty, Princewood Road, Corby, Northants, NN17 4AP
- Items ordered in error may be returned at United Beauty’s discretion and may be subject to a restocking fee

A refund of the goods returned will be credited to your account within 4 weeks of the complaint. However, if for any reason there is a requirement to keep the complaint open for longer, one of our sales representatives will contact you with an update and advise an expected date for completion.

A refund for the postage paid by yourself will be provided for any goods that you return to us due to damage or incorrect goods received. You will need to provide proof of postage and a total cost charged to you by your carrier/courier in the form of a receipt or bill copy.
Any replacements that we may send to you will be invoiced. Free of charge issue of stock is not permitted within United Beauty. You will not be required to pay this invoice, nor will credit control chase you for the invoice in question and a credit note will be raised to reflect the replacement/original invoice.

United Beauty is committed to protecting your security. Our relationship with you is valuable and we understand the importance of the privacy and security of information that personally identifies you. Because of this we take your privacy seriously, whether you are a first time visitor to our website or a regular user.

United Beauty will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

We collect data about you for 2 reasons:
1. To process your order.
2. To provide you with the best possible service.

What information do we collect about you?
The type of information we will collect from you is your name, address, telephone, e-mail address, qualifications and credit card details. We will never collect sensitive information without your explicit consent.

How do we collect information about you?
You will complete a registration form in order to process your online order. During the transaction process we will use technology to track your visit; this is referred to as a cookie. You will need to have cookies enabled within your browser to make a transaction on this website. To find out more about your browser settings consult your software provider. We may also receive and record information by tracking user traffic patterns throughout our web pages to maintain a record of the movements of visitors to this site, including pages visited and products requested. United Beauty may use this information to customise the promotions & advertising you see on our website, to fulfil requests for certain information and communicate with you in general about certain promotions, special offers or new products.

 

HOW TO SHOP SECTION

 

GETTING STARTED IN THE UNITED BEAUTY SHOP
Entering the United Beauty shop
From any page click the category you want to browse in from the left hand side of the page. Once in the shop you can start adding products to your shopping bag straight away. However you will need to register to view trade prices and restricted products as well as to checkout.

Registering to use the United Beauty shop
- To register, click the REGISTER button from the top right hand side of any page
- Complete your details
- Click that you have read our terms and conditions
- Click the SUBMIT button
Once we have accepted your application you will be sent a user name and password via email within 24hours. Please be aware that the United Beauty website is for professional use only and we may from time to time call you to check that the information that you have provided us is correct.

Logging in
- To log in please click the Log In link on the top right hand side of any page
- Enter your USERNAME
- Enter you PASSWORD
- Click SUBMIT
Please note that you must enter the User name and Password that United Beauty has allocated you via email.

 

HOW TO ORDER
From the home page click the shop button or select the product area you would like to browse from the list on the left hand side of each page. This will take you to the shopping section.

- Select the products you want to purchase
- Enter the quantity you would like to purchase
- Click ADD TO BAG
- Once you are ready to place your order, click CHECKOUT
- Fill in your delivery details in the CHECKOUT FORM
- Click SUBMIT
- The site will then direct you to a secure payment site where you will be required to enter your payment details. We accept all major credit/debit cards – Master Card, Visa, Delta, Switch and Solo. We do not accept American Express or Electron.

 

ADDING ITEMS TO YOUR ORDER FORM
Once an order has been started, your shopping bag details will remain on the top right of your screen while you choose your items that you want to order. From the shopping section you can:
- Add items from the online shop. You can browse all of the United Beauty products by categories selected from the list on the left hand side. This has been arranged in 2 sections; Shop by Category and Shop by Brand.
- Search for a product by name or by the order code using the search button on the top right of each page.

Adding items from the online shop
- Use the browse menu from the left side of the screen to browse the whole range of United Beauty products
- Choose a main product area or brand to search through from the menu on the left side
- Scroll to find the product you want to order
- Click the product name or image to display the full product description
- Enter a quantity into the quantity box and click ADD TO BAG to add the item to your order form
The order form is automatically updated and recalculated. You do not need to hit an update or submit button. You will see the details of your shopping bag on the right hand side of the page. This will detail the number of items in your shopping bag and the value of your order.

Searching for an item
- Enter the product name or order code into the search box on the top left side of the page
- Scroll to find the item that you want from the results list
- Click the product name or image to display the full product description
- Enter a quantity into the quantity box and click ADD TO BAG to add the item to your order form

 

EDITING ENTRIES ON YOUR ORDER
You can change you order by clicking SHOPPING BAG from the top left side of the page. You can only change you order BEFORE you have checked out and entered your payment details.

Editing entries in your order form
To change entries in an order form:
- Click the SHOPPING BAG from the top left side of the page
- Check the items in the order that you want to change
- Either change the quantity box or check the REMOVE box
- Click the UPDATE button

Removing items in your order form
To quickly remove items from your order:
- Click the SHOPPING BAG from the top left side of the page
- Check the items in the order that you want to change
- Check the REMOVE box
- Click the UPDATE button

 

COMPLETING AND ORDER
Once you have all the items you wish to purchase in your shopping bag, you are ready to complete your order.

To complete your order:
- Click the SHOPPING BAG from the top left side of the page
- Click SUBMIT to progress to checkout – you must be logged in to complete your order.
- Complete the CHECKOUT FORM ensuring you fill in all the mandatory fields marked with an *
- Tick that you have accepted the United Beauty Terms and Conditions
- Click SUBMIT
- A confirmation sheet will show detailing your order details. Check that this information is correct and click SUBMIT
- You will be taken to a secure payment site to complete the order process.
An e-mail confirmation of your order will be sent to you with your unique order code. Please quote this, if you call us to enquire about your order.
