Introduction to Nail Technology

Suitable For:

Students who do not hold a manicure certifiacte and want to gain a basic understanding of the nail and providing nail services.

Overview:

This course is designed to teach the basic skills needed when starting out as a nail technician. Focusing on manicure, nail physiology and anatomy as well as nail preperation and the basic product application for nail extensions. This course is ideal for those wanting to gain a basic understanding and to then progress on to a more in depth course.

What will I learn?

1 day manicure
1 day basic nail application, covering:
- Nail Preperation
- Tip Application
- Health & Safety
- Basic Product Application of UV Acrylic, Acrylic, UV Gel,
Fibreglass & Silk

What will I get?

- Manicure Certificate

What will I need?

To purchase a manicure kit on the day
- Ensure your hair is kept off your face and tied back where necessary
- Remove Jewellery
- Nail Extensions should be removed and nails should be short and unpolished

You will need to bring the following:
- Note Book and Pen
- Packed Lunch (refreshments will be provided)

How long will it take?

Two full days 10am - 4pm
Structured as 1 day manicure and 1 day basic nail application
